Blackburn with Darwen face-to-face training  

​The Public Health Directorate of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council have commissioned Re-Align Futures in partnership with Spring North to deliver mental health and suicide intervention training. Anyone who lives, volunteers, works or studies in the Borough can attend these sessions at no charge. All costs for the training have been paid by the Council.

The  e-Learning for Healthcare platform has e-learning on Public Mental Health in its MindEd programme.

The online sessions are free to access and aim to give adults who care for, or work with people:
  • the knowledge to support their wellbeing
  • the understanding to identify a child, young person or adult at risk of a mental health condition
  • the confidence to act on their concern and, if needed, signpost to services that can help
