Blackburn with Darwen face-to-face training  

​The Public Health Directorate of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council have commissioned Re-Align Futures to deliver mental health and suicide intervention training. Anyone who lives, works or studies in the Borough can attend these sessions at no charge. All costs for the training have been paid by the Council.

You will be offered a place if there are cancellations, we will also let you know the date of the next training if a place doesn't become available for this one.

​This is the second part of our discussion around anxiety and the ways we all manage our stresses as best we can. It follows on from video 2.
Following some requests , here we start to talk about stress , anxiety , anxiousness and when things can become difficult and edge towards a possible anxiety disorder. 
Dawn introduces a space where we can talk a little about how we are feeling. Future videos will look at a variety of issues. So please let her know if there’s anything you’d like to know more about.

The web based platform e-Learning for Healthcare has e-learning on Public Mental Health in its MindEd programme.

The online sessions are free to access.  They outlines the impact of mental disorder, mental wellbeing, and public health interventions.  Mental disorder and poor wellbeing is common and can affect everyone. However, effective interventions can treat mental disorder, prevent associated impacts, prevent mental disorder from arising and promote mental wellbeing.
