A coalition of over 50 voluntary and social sector organisations have written to the Prime Minister, to urge him to create a new mental health renewal plan for England, to support the nation’s recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. The coalition are calling on the government to work in full partnership with the mental health and wider voluntary sector to shape a new social contract for a mentally healthier society.

PAPYRUS-Launch of HOPELINK
PAPYRUS, a national charity working in suicide prevention, have launched HOPELINK a digital platform that helps callers to revisit and update their safety plan online. HOPELineUK now offer a debrief service for professionals including GPs, teachers, police, first responders and frontline workers who have recently had an encounter with suicide and would like to talk it through with a trained professional.
